About Cosmetic by Banou
Nancy Akbari brings more than 25 years in the beauty industry to the Beverly Hills studio. Her background is unusual for the field: she started as a nurse in a burn victims’ ward, where she saw firsthand how aesthetic restoration could rebuild a person’s confidence — an experience that shaped how she approaches every procedure today. She also comes from a family with roots in Persian painting and printing, which shows in the precision and color-blending of her pigment work. Nancy is a longtime supporter of breast cancer awareness, reflected in her areola restoration work for clients post-mastectomy.

Banou Academy’s hands-on PMU training program is based at the Beverly Hills studio, taught directly by Nancy. The Beginner Eyebrows course is currently open for enrollment, with additional courses (Lip Blush, Eyeliner, Microblading, and Correction) rolling out over time.
